Our “Hot off the Farm” Fall package gives to you the chance to enjoy the best of mid-Ohio’s fall farms. This two night package includes great food fresh from the farm, evening bonfires, ghost stories, “how do they make that?” tours, luxurious accommodations and, not to rise above the latter, but, a hot air balloon ride for two!

Start your getaway at the Hideaway Inn with a picnic dinner by the bonfire. Enjoy local brats and corn, Homemade German potato salad, pumpkin bread and apple cider. We’ll provide the ghost stories, the blankets, and the fixings to finish off the evening with buckeye s’mores, and popcorn.

Wake up the next morning to a four-course breakfast with fall favorites like pumpkin waffles, local sausage from Link’s and Ohio apples stuffed with oatmeal. Spend the morning in Bucyrus watching jam being made at Cooper’s Mill Apple Butter and Jelly Factory, enjoying a coffee at the Pelican House and doing a little shopping at the Amish vault. When it’s time for lunch, stop by Miller’s Drive-in for a trip back to the days of carhops & homemade root beer.

Late in the afternoon, after a walk through the woods or a luxurious Jacuzzi, a hot air balloon will arrive at the doorstep of the inn to take you on a one-hour tour of the area and the farms that produced the fall’s abundance.

Dinner that evening will be in front of the fire at the Inn. This five-course meal features our fall specialties: Smoked Home Grown Corn Chowder, Fresh local Pheasant, Grilled Pork loin with apple-cranberry chutney, Ginger Pumpkin mousse, hot apple strudel with homemade ice cream and more. After dinner, join us in our new tavern (The Shining) for our special hot cider martini or one of our Fall beers.

On your last morning, after another filling breakfast, we’ll guide you to the local pumpkin patch to pick your own souvenir of your fall fling!
