Family Fun at The ECO Center Festival
If you’re looking for family fun nearby in the north-central Ohio region, check out the Eco Center Festival just east of Caledonia on a Saturday or Sunday in October.
The festival features a barrel train ride, s’mores fire pit, two mini zip lines and a playground made from upcycled materials, a corn maze, petting zoo, chicken run, pumpkin patch, tricycle track, tile slide, butterfly garden, interpretive trail, straw fort, giant corn box and outdoor education options.
Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday through this month, the festival, which is celebrating its third year, is located at the Eco Center, 1757 County Road 59.
Admission to the Eco Center Fall Festival is $8 for ages 3 to 54, $5 for ages 55 and older and free for children 2 and younger. Parking is free.
The festival is one of three major events offered annually at the Eco Center. Along with the fall event, the Eco Center holds an Earth Day celebration in the spring, and will host “Phobia,” a haunted trail, later in October.
